With an ever increasing demand for dedicated dementia care, and dementia carer respite, our new centre has been designed from the ground up to provide a safe,
secure, environment for people with dementia.
As well as providing a purpose designed centre, we also ensure that our dedicated staff are fully trained and
up to date with the latest care techniques. We work with carers to ensure that our support and services follow each individual’s
plan to maintain the high levels of consistency that maximise effectiveness.

Maintaining independence is a major factor in maximising well-being and quality of life. Our Frail and Aged Support Services are there to help eligible people in the Peel region manage the day to day activities that can be challenging if you have to go it alone.
We can help you with your errands, like getting you to the bank, a medical appointment or a social activity, and our shopping support makes sure that you always have what you need in your pantry. Socialisation is important too, you can join in a wide range of activities at our Pinjarra Centre, from arts and crafts to games and quizzes. There are also regular outings and excursions to lunches, picnics and special events. Peel Community Care can also provide a range of in-home services, such as home visits for some regular companionship, and personal care and domestic support.
While our range of services is extensive, what works for one person doesn’t necessarily work for another, so we take a great deal of care in helping you to decide what support you need. Why not give us a call, you may be surprised at just what we can do to support you. Call us on 9531 2076 or email info@peelcommunitycare.org.au for more information.
Recent changes in the funding and delivery of frail aged and disability care mean that you now have increased control over what support you receive and who delivers your services, and we work with you to make sure that your package is just right.
We support a wellness approach to service delivery and encourage our clients, wherever possible, to be actively involved involved in their support services. Our caring and professional support workers will work with you to develop and deliver personal care and domestic assistance packages designed to help you remain independent and living in your own home. This can include tasks like washing floors and vacuuming, as well as personal care such as help with showering and medication management. We can also take on some of your outside jobs, like mowing the lawns and keep your paths, driveways and gutters clear and safe.
While the services you are eligible for can depend on an external assessment, if you are seeking some help to remain independent and living in your own home, why not talk to one of our support staff to get the ball rolling! Call us on 9531 2076 or email info@peelcommunitycare.org.au for more information.
